About the Author
Kathy Morris has been a lawyer since 1975. After practicing law in a Honolulu, HI defense firm and at the Federal Defender Program in Chicago, she joined the faculty at Northwestern University School of Law, where she continues to teach. From 1985-88 she also served as the law school's Director of Placement and Career Counseling. In 1988, Ms. Morris founded Under Advisement, Ltd. to provide career planning for lawyers and, as a long-time attorney career counselor, now offers job search and career guidance through the ABA Career Resource Center. She is also Director of the companion ABA Center for Continuing Legal Education, which brings national information to lawyers everywhere to assist in their professional development and growth.
