About the Author
Sue Titus Reid is a Professor at the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy at Florida State University, Tallahassee. She has served on the board of the Midwest Sociological Society and the executive staff of the American Sociological Association. In 1985, she was the George Beto Chair in Criminal Justice at the Criminal Justice Center, Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. Dr. Reid’s contributions to her profession have been widely recognized nationally and abroad. Her international honors include International Woman of the Year, 1991-92; International Who's Who of Intellectuals; and International Order of Merit, 1993.
