From the Back Cover

When Enika Schulze told me of her goal to publish an environmental law textbook for paralegal education, I knew at once that it was a project sorely needed. I was glad to recommend Craig B. Simonsen for the project.

Craig's experience and background made him an ideal choice for putting together this text. He came to this project after years of teaching an environmental law course and spearheading a multitude of seminars and conference programs. As a teacher, he experienced firsthand the lack of suitable environmental law teaching materials.

While Craig was teaching environmental law, his students often encouraged him to write a textbook. Now he has done so, incorporating the best from his teaching experience and nearly 14 years of practical, working knowledge in environmental law. His goal of. publishing an environmental law textbook has become a reality.

The textbook contains various chapters written by paralegals and attorneys who are experts in environmental law. In fact these authors are some of the best legal minds practicing in this area today. Their contributions to this textbook make it a valuable teaching tool.

This final product was worth the wait. It presents an excellent resource for paralegal students and teachers alike. The material is informative and presented in a way that will encourage students to consider seriously becoming, and then succeeding, as environmental law paralegals.
