“This timely bibliography provides comprehensive coverage of national and international issues and questions dealing with sports law. It covers books and US and foreign legal journals and law reviews, rather than the popular periodicals that are accessible through more standard indexes. The volume contains 1,367 entries divided among 35 chapters--several of which deal with specific sports. The majority of the chapters, however, deal with broad topics such as agents, discrimination, violence in sports, substance abuse, antitrust and trade restrictions, and broadcasting rights. Chapters are then divided into sections dealing with subtopics of the main theme. The volume also contains author, case name, and subject indexes. The annotations are clear and helpful. This bibliography is highly recommended for any library whose patrons need access to the literature of the legal aspects of sports.”–
