About the Author
Frank Triplett was a St.Louis author and mining man of the late nineteenth century. He wrote acounts of the settling of the West and a biography of Grover Cleveland.

Joseph Snell is the author of Painted Ladies of the Cowtown Frontier and retired Executive Director of the Kansas State Historical Society. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.
