About the Author
Gary was born and raised in Los Angles California. Gary attended college at California State Northridge majoring in Finance, and he fulfilled his life long ambition of being a lawyer by attending law school at the University of West Los Angeles. He served as president of the Black Law Students Association graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 1994.

After passing the Bar, he began his legal career by working for the Black Law Institute in Watts, California as a staff attorney. In 1997 Gary formed the Law Offices of Gary Olive, a firm that is focused in criminal defense and dedicated to providing vigorous, aggressive representation to its cliental. Regularly heard as a legal analyst on KJLH Radio, he is known as an attorney who is always ready, and willing to go to trial having argued close to 100 cases to jury. He is one of the few attorneys in Los Angeles to have actually won acquittals and/or dismissals in five different counties. Says Gary,"my job is to prevent crime in the courtroom."
