Book Description
The workforce is fed up with politics, back-biting, power trips and the depletion of ethical business practices. They are ready to create a business culture that encourages and rewards honesty, integrity and intimacy. But, as in any journey, the first step is the hardest. The move from selfish and mechanical relationships in business ("bad sex") to intimate, focused, and enduring relationships ("good sex") will change business and the lives of those in the workforce in amazing ways - but how do we start?

Sex, Intimacy and Business uses a universally understood metaphor to describe what is not working in business today and offers a new model for workplace behavior that will drive increased creativity, productivity, satisfaction and fulfillment in the world of work.

Authors Lindsay Andreotti and Brian Hilgendorf have been listening to the outcry from countless people who are fed up with business as usual. Their years of observation and participation in business have led them to express what they believe to be the next driver of business success - allowing and encouraging human authenticity in the workplace.

About the Author
Lindsay Andreotti has career experience that is diverse and spans the gamut from government to non-profit to Fortune 500 companies. She has founded companies and held a variety of leadership positions in small and large organizations. Her perspective emanates, not only from the roles she has played in corporate America, but also from many years as an organizational development, business transformation consultant and executive coach. Of her work and her beliefs she says, "The best way to describe me is as a business and personal mentor and muse. I have a talent for helping individuals and teams at all levels to gain clarity of their vision and integrate all aspects of their life. I like to help them create a concrete plan to overcome challenges and achieve their vision, not only successfully, but beyond what anyone could have imagined. When you are authentic and in your Brilliance, and when you believe, you can achieve anything!"

Brian Hilgendorf has a rich background and perspective of business derived from many years in high-tech and entrepreneurial environments as well as being a consultant. He has worked in large and small organizations and held positions from line employee to senior executive. He has also founded several companies, actively participated in the leadership of many others, and played the role of advisor and angel investor in others. Speaking about his career he says, "On my journey through business I have had wins and failures. I have seen what works and what doesn't. It's pretty simple really, making things work personally and professionally is all about the energy of passion. And, it's about overcoming doubt and suspending disbelief. It's about applying the knowing that comes only from being fully authentic and letting the team around you do the same."
