About the Author
MARVIN R. GOTTLIEB is Associate Professor of Communication at Lehman College (CUNY), and president of the Communication Project, Inc. Gottlieb has over 15 years of experience as a consultant, management development specialist, and trainer for manufacturing, travel, banking, financial services, and advertising companies. Major clients include American Express, Bankers Trust, Thomas Cook Travel, Ogilvy & Mather, Transilwrap Company, Reuters, Marriott Corporation, and the Prudential. He is the author of Oral Interpretation (1980), Interview (1986), and with William Healy Making Deals: The Business of Negotiating (1990). He is also a member of the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association. LORI CONKLING is Director of Continuing Education and Community Development at Orange County Community College-SUNY.
