Book Description
This simulation puts users in the position of re- negotiating a labor agreement for a major metals corporation. By analyzing the company's history and financial statements, the current labor agreement, the union and its current relationship with management, users negotiate both economic and non-economic issues of the labor agreement. The entire simulation can be utilized with or without the computerized programs. The simulation is based on an actual labor agreement to reflect the most “real world” experience possible. Users must consider issues such as financial elements, wages, overtime, sub-contracting, drug testing, profit sharing, and health and pension benefits. Variables in the simulation reflect current trends in bargaining agreements such as wages, job titles, etc. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.
