Book Description
From their research, the authors have found that money isn't all that matters to the technical population. It's important, of course, but there are a whole host of other reasons (both tangible and intangible) that influence a technical professional's decision to work for an organization. Examples include their first impression of the organization, the person's relationship with his or her manager and the opportunity to work with the latest technology.

The attraction and retention situation is likely to get worse before it gets better. The strategies listed in this book will give you a fighting chance to find and keep technical professionals and directly improve your organization's bottom line.
