Book Description
One of the most important roles a manager can assume is that of teacher. When employees are well-trained and knowledgeable of what it takes to perform well on the job, they are more motivated and productive. Training Managers to Train helps managers of all levels plan, implement, and evaluate training programs that all employees can benefit from. Numerous worksheets and exercises throughout the book help managers begin to think creatively about their training needs and goals as well as taking them through the first steps in organizing their training plans. Training that is tailored to the specific audience is more effective than by-the-book instruction. The third edition of this book emphasizes how to develop the most effective training programs for employees with diverse backgrounds, skills, and levels of experience.
