About the Author

Neil H Katz is committed to self-actualization, nonviolence, and participative decision making as a way to influence change among individuals and in organizations and society. His primary interest is facilitating interactive learning and skill development about conflict and its resolution. Katz serves in a leadership capacity in five different conflict resolution programs in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs Syracuse University. He is the author or co-author of over 20 book chapters and articles on conflict resolution and nonviolence and coauthor (with Jack Lawyer) of three highly acclaimed workbooks, Communication Skills for Ministry, Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills, and Communication and Conflict Management Skills.

 

John W Lawyer values himself as a choice maker and creator of processes and models that enable people to become lifelong learners. He founded Henneberry Hill Consultants in 1976 and serves as its president. It is an association of professional consultants dedicated to helping individuals, groups and organizations improve their overall effectiveness in achieveing their interests and goals. Lawyer has a special interest in the development of medels and skills for conflict management and interest-based negotiation. He has, in collaboration with others, published five books in the field of conflict resolution and change.
