PART 3 covers laws related to wages, fair employment, and discrimination. PART 4 provides guidelines for handling all other HR functions: preparing job descriptions, interviewing, conducting pay surveys, handling employee evaluations. This 2nd edition is updated in all areas, especially to include information on the Civil Rights Act of 1991 and the Americans with Disabilities Act and new benefits information in such areas as family leave. The author is a consultant specializing in personnel management and labor relations. He has ll yrs. of experience as a personnel director, has taught college courses and given corporate training programs on a variety of personnel subjects.
