About the Author
Saul Carliner is visiting professor in the department of English and communication at the City University of Hong Kong. He teaches courses on content development, visual communications, performance support, and e-learning. He has also served on the faculty at Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and has been a visiting instructor at the Pan African Institute for Development in Buea, Cameroon. He holds a doctorate in instructional technology from Georgia State University. His previous books include Techniques for Technical Communications (1993) and An Overview of Online Learning (1999).
