About the Author
Joseph R (Joe) Thiel is currently Co-chairman of the Illustration Department of the prestigious Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. A graduate of the State University of Buffalo, holding the first MFA offered by that institution, Thiel is a true dyed-in-the-wool political junkie. His illustrations have appeared in Print, The Washington Times, Governing and other national publications.
