About the Author
Dr. Alan Raedels C.P.M., is a professor at Portland State University. He has taught courses and seminars, and consulted in purchasing and supply management for over 20 years. He is author of the book "Value-Focused Supply Management"; and is editor of the seventh edition of the "C.P.M. Study Guide". Dr. Raedels holds a B.S.M.E. from Colorado State University, an M.B.A. from Portland State University, and a Ph.D. from Purdue University. He is a former NAPM District XI Director, former NAPM Educational Resources Committee chair, and was the 1999 J. Shipman Gold Medal recipient, NAPM's highest honor.
