About the Author
Katherine L. Jackson is Director of Graduate Business Programs and Associate Professor of Finance at Indiana University South Bend. Her current research centers on matters of corporate control and shareholder activism. She has published in numerous journals including Journal of Financial Research and Financial Review. She has won several teaching excellence awards and has presented her collaborative teaching ideas at the meetings of the International Financial Management Association, Eastern Finance Association, Midwest Finance Association, Midwest Decision Sciences Institute, Midwest Academy of Management as well as giving invited presentations at numerous colleges and universities. Professor Jackson holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina.
